Will Charnley became the first GM and Director of eBay Live UK in January 2026, having re-joined eBay in Summer 2025 as Director of Hard Goods UK. As a new growth area for eBay, Charnley has enjoyed combining eBay’s strengths as a trusted, global marketplace with new experiences in live commerce.

Prior to this, Charnley was Customer Director at Signet Jewelers (HSamuel & Ernest Jones), overseeing digital, marketing and customer functions for the Group. Will got to know the eBay team by implementing an eBay shop with Seasalt Cornwall in 2020, for whom he was Chief Sales Officer from 2018 to 2022.

Prior to this, Charnley spent time as Head of Strategy for Greene King Pub Group and in various retail, merchandising and strategy roles at John Lewis.
