Simone Tudor is Group Deputy General Counsel at JD Sports Fashion plc, where she is leading the legal function's transformation into a tech-enabled, commercial legal team. Since joining JD in early 2023 she has restructured the UK team, reduced external legal spend and built out the group's legal operations capability.

She is currently rolling out legal technology and AI tools to accelerate engagement with the business, speed up contract reviews, broaden self-service across the globe and standardise documentation and process across the global legal team. Her in-house career spans more than two decades, including General Counsel and Company Secretary roles at Homebase, A.S. Watson Health & Beauty and Cofely UK, following private practice at Wragge & Co and Speechly Bircham.

The JD team was named In-house Diversity Team of the Year in 2026 and In-house Team of the Year in 2025 at the Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards. Simone has previously featured in The Lawyer's Hot 100 and been shortlisted for General Counsel of the Year at The Lawyer Awards and the FT Innovative Lawyer Awards. Outside work she founded a local youth hockey club and runs a community dog group.
